Danish duo, Jeppe and Jonas, uniquely combine Scandinavian folk with contemporary ambient music.
The sound and feel of ‘daarskab’ is based on dubbing the xaphoon – an instrument coined the ‘pocket sax’ and sounding like somewhere between a saxophone and a clarinet. It’s both subtle and vibrant and it gives this track the foundation for its very special sound.
Added to this is a child’s voice teaching us the value of innocence and of life itself. The track is a delightful musical fairyland of wonder and hope.
